I found poetry when I was in a dark place in my life. It was difficult for me to discuss my emotions with other people. I discovered the power of writing and how it impacted my soul. Poetry became my salvation as I saved myself from the storm coming ahead. In order to appreciate the light, you must endure the darkness and the lessons it teaches.
